It is said that it takes a village to raise a child…The people who took care of others throughout their life also need one for support.

That’s why the Fondation Institut de gériatrie de Montréal established a new community of donors, who have committed to taking care of seniors the way children are cared for. You, too, can be part of it.

In a village, everyone’s contribution counts, and everyone has a place. Some people make small donations, others, large ones. Everyone pulls together so that we can accomplish great things:

  • Fund the research on aging that is most likely to help people in advancing years to maintain their health and autonomy.
  • Help publicize the most up-to-date information on “aging better” to the general public and healthcare professionals.
  • Support efforts to provide the best quality of care possible for seniors at the Institut universitaire de gériatrie de Montréal, as outpatients or residents.

Join other monthly donors and be part of the village. Through their steadfast commitment monthly donors redouble researchers’ efforts and bring seniors a bit of what they have given to society.

Advantages

Most of your donation goes directly to supporting seniors since you help the Foundation reduce its administrative costs.

  • The Institute and its researchers are assured funds will be available on a regular basis so they can better respond to the needs of seniors immediately, and over the long term.
  • You help preserve the environment (reduced postal costs and a single income tax receipt).
